Biased to an hospitality industry only

Gemma and the team are really very professional and personal, and I get that they are a hospitality only brand - but its always disappointing that they never come back to me after a conversation / application because I don't have 'enough' hospitality experience.
I appreciate that you have to differentiate CVs for clients and match their expectations, but disappointing to constantly get pushed back with role I know I could do!
please help educate clients that there are really HR folk out there that can add value (maybe more value) having other industry experience..

Elitist Recruiter

Three separate conversation with the Wilton & Bain team, the last one with Laurence Ashby. The conversation was left with me having to do my 'homework' on who I could introduce him to in my network, so he could find me a role. As well as additional versions of the CV, which felt more like activity to keep me quiet than actual feedback on my live CV.
It felt like the wrong way around for a recruiter that was not that well connected in the market place, interestingly no genuine follow up and I wouldn't recommend to anyone else.

Recruiting for gain not for candidates

I connected with Natasha on Linkedin and we have spoken twice over three years.

The conversations were very one-sided - all about her and what she wanted (business) she spent minimal time asking about my experiences, potential and what I was looking for.

I have had no applications through her even when I have seen Oliver Sanderson advertising positions that appear a good fit.

Recent experience is of ghosting - no responses to emails or messages.
