Vision Teaching

I have just started working with Vision Teaching as a supply teacher, and I am impressed with their process of registration and their ability to find regular work for people registered with them. The main reason people register with recruitment agencies is to find work and when the work is regularly available, the agency deserves commendation. It is also a way of informing other people looking for work that they can get help from Vision Teaching. I would like to point out that working with Vision Teaching requires flexibility. I have had to work outside my comfort zone but surprisingly, found it rewarding. Dan Gordon is my consultant, and he has been very helpful and supportive in finding me work. I have had a positive experience with Vision Teaching and strongly recommend them to anyone interested in working in schools.

His communication has been excellent, and he has made the whole process much smoother and less stressful. Extremely disappointing experience with Vision Teaching – avoid! I had a very poor experience with Vision Teaching and would strongly advise others to think twice before registering. The main issue was a pay discrepancy. I agreed a daily rate of £170, which was understood to be the amount I would receive, as is standard with other agencies I’ve worked with. However, when I was paid, deductions had been applied which reduced my take-home to around £140/day. This was never clearly explained or agreed beforehand and feels very misleading. I would not have accepted the work at that rate. Communication was also frustrating throughout. I was repeatedly passed between different people without getting clear answers, and response times were slow when trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward issue. Overall, there was a clear lack of transparency around pay and poor communication, which made this a very negative experience. There are far better agencies out there who are upfront, responsive, and honour agreed rates. I would strongly recommend avoiding Vision Teaching.

I am very new to Vision but have been working closely with Paul. I’ve had a really positive experience with this agency more importantly Paul who is professional, supportive, and communicates clearly. Paul works tirelessly to find me placements that not only suit my skills but also my values as an educator. I have felt valued and well supported throughout my time here with Vision.

I have worked for Vision Teaching for many years and must say that they do a great job in keeping you happy. This is so important. They are an approachable and understanding agency, providing me regular work that is close to home as I have young children. Started since September and can say that Vision Teaching is a great and active agency. Would normally get frequent calls for work within reasonable distance. I especially want to thank Lily who has placed me in a nearby school which is great for location. She is very communicative , enthusiastic and helpful.
