Lydia Shiel is my recruiter at Wayman Education and as a teacher who has been in the profession since 1987 I have not worked with a consultant as professional as her. Lydia is extremely competent and really gets to know her teacher clients and works hard to match them with appropriate educational institutions. No bulk emails, no phone calls or emails about unsuitable roles: she knows exactly what her clients need. Today she matched me with exactly a role I was looking for at a school that wanted precisely what I could offer. She also negotiated a great daily rate. signed up with Wayman Education over a month ago and initially had frequent contact, which made it seem like I would be placed into work quickly.However, since then, communication has significantly dropped. Emails have gone unanswered, and I’ve had to chase for updates with little to no response. It’s been frustrating, especially after being made to feel like opportunities would come through promptly.I understand that recruitment can take time, but clear communication and transparency are important. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.
