Smart Teachers

I have been working as a Supply SEN Teacher with Smart Teachers for almost a year now. I am very happy I found a very good agent Saiad, who really listen to my requests. My objective was to get to know as many SEN schools as possible to search for the right school for me. I am happy to report I finally found the "right place for my own needs" last December! If you subscribe with Smart Teachers you will not regret! They will go out of their way to find you want you want tk continue your career in Education.

Since early 2025, I have been working with Smart Teachers. My agent, Saiad, has been very efficient in finding and securing me work. In June 2025, I was offered a TA position, and not long after that I was offered a long-term position at the same school. Smart Teachers is a great company to work for. Saiad is very supportive and always checks in to see how I am getting on and whether I need any additional support. I would highly recommend Smart Teachers. Whether you are looking for long-term or short-term work, Smart Teachers is the way to go.☺️

Great company. Saiad is great. He goes above and beyond and also very funny. I would definitely recommend.

Responsive agency that supports their staff to find well suited placements. Easy and friendly onboarding process. I’ve had great help with Saiad over the years to work park time, a responsive agent responsible for many successful shifts.

Working with Sam Tinker has been an excellent experience. He is a highly competent, detail-oriented professional with natural leadership skills. While the role of a Cover supervisor presents unique logistical challenges—particularly regarding scheduling—Sam has consistently overcome these through his hard work and exceptional organizational abilities. He is deeply supportive and always prioritizes the well-being of his team. Sam has also been a fantastic representative for Smart Teachers. Also, their user-friendly "My Supply" app is an impressive tool that makes booking and tracking staff incredibly efficient.

Trusting Smart Teachers for steady work is Not a smart choice. The agency provides work sporadically when they are busy but for long periods of time string you alone with false promises. In addition, the daily rate is low. There is always attempts to lower your wages on the pretext that the school are reducing the wages due to 'money difficulties'. In conclusion, Smart Teachers are not living up to its name. Not from the point a view of the employees, anyway. Unless teachers are looking for one( or two) assignment per month. Or last minute assignment, as advanced bookings do not exist at Smart. Frankly, Smart is the least reliable agency I have worked for.

Smart teachers as an agency is very professional when it comes to delivering on their responsibilities. Having worked with Matt and Sam as consultants for Smart teachers, they have exhibited extra understanding of how responsibility and work ethics are inextricably linked to achieve success.

I have been very pleased with Sam Tinker at Smart Teachers. He is approachable, personable and helpful, and responds to my queries promptly. He is cooperative and takes my preferences into account. The registration process was straightforward, and he was able to find work for me within a few days. He seems to maintain clear communication with schools and appears to have good professional relationships with them. I have also found the Smart Teachers app useful.

I have had a great experience working with this supply agency. They are very professional and easy to work with. I was introduced to them through someone I met during day-to-day supply, and from the start the process was smooth and efficient. They are always quick with booking jobs and very reliable. Daniel Uwaifo, in particular, is amazing to work with. He is extremely professional, always replies quickly, and is very friendly. He made me feel welcome and truly listened to my needs and preferences when it comes to work placements. Because of my positive experience, I have referred Daniel and Smart Teachers to a few other people. I have been working with the agency for over a year now, and it has been a great experience overall. I highly recommend them.

Great place to work! The team is supportive and collaborative, management is approachable, and there’s always a positive vibe. Highly recommend!
