Extremely disappointed with the professional conduct of the consultants at Salt Recruitment. After being referred through their Country Director, I expected a high level of partnership. Instead, I was met with unprofessionalism and a "take it or leave it" attitude. The consultants, Ms. Sabrina and Mr. Usama, aggressively demanded an exclusive Terms of Business (TOB) before demonstrating any ability to deliver candidates. In a specialized market like Johor Bahru, it is standard for clients to require a trial period to assess performance. When I maintained our company policy regarding non-exclusivity, the tone of the discussion became rude and dismissive. A recruitment firm should act as a partner and problem-solver, not use high-pressure tactics to force exclusivity. Their conduct was shameful and does not reflect the standards of a global agency. I would advise other HR leaders and hiring managers to look elsewhere for talent acquisition partners who value professional courtesy and performance-based results.

Amazing job seeking experience with Charlie Curlewis at Salt! This was my second time working with him and as always, found him to be very friendly and professional. Before every interview, he would provide valuable insights into the company and the specific individuals I would be interviewing with, and would also follow up soon after each interview to understand how it went from the interviewee’s perspective. He has some strong and friendly connections with people and companies he has worked with before, which made my job hunting experience alot easier and smoother than expected.

Honestly, terrible service. This guy Alex Phipps is always boasting about having new roles, and wanting to help candidates. But never responds, or takes your cv and completely forgets. What a time waster.
