Connex Education

After being made redundant in my previous role, I joined Connex as I wanted to get back into early years. I applied for a SEN teaching assistant role and have been supported by Danielle and Emily, who have been great throughout. They’ve checked in regularly, offered constant support, and made the transition really smooth

I have been working with Connex Education since October 2024 and it has been an amazing experience so far! I have received consistent work ever since joining. However, I am not pushed into working when I don’t want to which is relieving as a mum to little ones. Sam at Connex takes my thoughts and feelings into consideration and appreciates honest feedback and reviews. She has never pushed or encouraged me to go back to a place I don’t want to. She has ensured that I am comfortable with each school placement and will always check in to find out whether I am happy. I am now going on maternity and she made the effort to go through all the admin related to this which she doesn’t have to as I can only imagine how busy they are! Definitely recommend signing up with them if you are looking to teach through supply and I will be going back when I am ready post baby no2!:)

I joined Connex Education over a month ago as I wanted to work as a Teaching Assistant within an educational setting. At the start, the recruitment consultant listened to my requirements, but it was a very slow start, and I wasn't getting many agency shifts. I was very concerned due to the lack of work and was thinking at the time of finding an alternative agency, but Danielle came on board and took over being responsible for finding me work. WHAT A JOY!! She has worked so hard and has truly committed to finding me more work and has worked around my situation. She has been in touch and kept me updated, and things have greatly improved with my work being increased. I'm enjoying the school that I work in, in which I've gained a lot of support from the teachers who work there. If you're thinking of joining an agency, I recommend Connex and ask for Danielle; she is very helpful. ☺️

Hollie and Emily have been very helpful and supportive throughout the process of me joining Connex and take time to listen and understand. Communication is great; they always keep me updated. I've only just started but had a smooth first assignment and am feeling less anxious about starting supply teaching.
