I've never had so much communication with a recruitment agency before! At no point did I feel forgotten about. Tom assisted with setting up appointments, was always quick to reply, and helped me feel confident about the prospect instead of the usual anxiety that usually comes from waiting for a response!

I would strongly advise those working in software engineering to avoid this recruitment agency. They ask personal questions which are none of their business. For example, if you find a role in another region of the UK that you are interested in, they will demand an explanation why you want to live there. Fancy a change in your life by moving somewhere new that you've always heard good things about? In the words of one of the staff members at this recruitment agency: "that is not a reasonable answer". The employer they were representing were equally strange, having the same line of questioning – very bizarre. The strangest and rudest encounter I have had with a recruitment agency in my life – and I have worked in software engineering for over 15 years. If you find an engineering role being advertised by Spectrum IT, it's probably not an employer you want to be working for.

Spectrum have been amazing since reaching out to me with a Head of IT opportunity. They have managed all communications between the organisation and myself, kept me updated on the situations.
