Great Chats - Good Chats - Clarity

I speak with Jordan at various points through the year, it's always a good chat, keeping informed about the markets, trends, and vice versa with how i help provide information too. Gravitas are one of the recruiters i recommend, they keep it real and provide a great service.

I received a call from them, and the interaction was very disappointing. The recruiter spoke rudely and lacked basic respect and professionalism. There was no courtesy or dignity in the way the conversation was handled. Recruiters should communicate politely and respectfully, especially when speaking with the public. This experience reflected very poorly on their professionalism.i will give zero Rating to them.

I have been acquainted with Gravatis recruitment and Yaf for over 8 years now and he is passionate about what he does and this shows through in his dedication to help all his clients. He is personable and professional which makes it easy to have faith in his ability to make sure that the right person is appointed and will fit in to whichever environment they are placed not only based on their skill set but also them as a person, ensuring they are a match with those they will be working with. Yaf is the person you want in your corner helping you to secure your next new big opportunity.

Unfortunately another typical London based recruitment agency that prioritizes sales over people. My experience with Tom Morgan (Principal Consultant) was especially negative - avoid this agency if you like being treated with respect & dignity!

One of the worst experiences I've had in years. I get a cold, copy and paste approach from one of leaders (PG) who then asks me to contact their colleague for more informations - as if that isn't sketchy enough. As I'm active, I reach out to him (MC) for more info. He sets up an intro call and it was a cringe-fest; clearly telling me all the things I want to hear, propping me up and saying other candidates don't know what they're talking about in comparison to me. Unprofessional. It is so obvious that he just wants me in asap without focusing on any detail. When I say my availability is around two weeks, it doesn't mean "let's put that down as one to two weeks". When I hear that the job is categorically three days in the office, it doesn't mean "two to three days". Absolute salesman. MC then asks me to improve my CV and put into writing why I want to work at this place that I was approached for and asks for this in the next 30 minutes. He then proceeds to call me to get this information. The phone calls. My word. Phone calls, emails, SMS and WhatsApp. Absolutely suffocating. I specifically said that my availability was limited and have used emails as a means of communication. But no, he insists on calling me and essentially talking me into making decisions on interview dates. Who asks for dates and times when you're NOT available? So, am I meant to omit the times when I'm asleep otherwise I'm available at all times? Absolute salesman - did I say that already? This person emails me like they're texts, one after another. Around 20-odd emails later, we settle on an interview date. But it wasn't easy. I specifically told him that my availability is limited, yet he still asks me if I can make it on the days I said I can't. Did I use the word "suffocating" too? Before the interview he also shared personal notes from another candidate and the interviewer, which is ridiculous and out of order. After all that, the interview was cancelled by the employer anyway. Long story short, this person needs to work on himself. If you're lying (which you are), then at least lie better. Understand and respect people's boundaries. Treating me like an idiot and then calling me five times a day along with emails, SMS and WhatsApp is not going to make me come running to you - I have a life. I'm far from a fresh graduate or an entry-level candidate that can be abused by these pathetic tactics. Not that anyone should be dominated into situations that they don't want to be in. Drop these stupid tricks. You give recruiters a bad name.

I received a message saying my profile was interesting and they'd like to schedule an appointment and see my CV. I sent the recruiter the required information and never heard anything again. Communication is awful. Maybe they just need your data. (I don't know why.)

I received a phonecall in regards to a job application as a graduate recruitment consultant. I previously ignored their phone calls and emails after viewing their shocking reviews on Google and realised this is a patronising company who like to put doubt to fresh graduates in their chosen career field. I ended up picking up a phone-call forgetting it would be them and I knew what to expect from the reviews . Graduates AVOID! Aside from calling after 17:00 I was asked why I wanted to get into the recruitment I explained to why I would like to get into recruitment it would be a good experience to prep and skill me to going up the career ladder to HR. She questioned me on my chosen career field insisting it wouldn’t be related and putting doubt in my mind. Other then letting her ramble on about what she “think” she knows. I would say to graduates to avoid this company unless they are looking for their morale and self confidence to be dragged through the gutter. Human resources is a broad field that includes recruitment, but also encompasses other areas such as employee relations, benefits, and performance management. Aside from achieving targets in recruitment, Recruitment is a specific function that INVOLVES finding and hiring qualified candidates for open positions. Perhaps hire better professionals who are empowering and helpful when recruiting individuals for roles instead of being patronising. Thanks

I received a call from someone regarding my application. They spoke to me rudely and were condescending. I’m not sure why they were asking about my current job and my previous experience when they mentioned that they have my CV in front of them as they spoke. But the worst part about the conversation was when they asked me why I want to get into recruitment, and upon mentioning my experience in a different field, they acted shocked. They mention how my current job and the position I’m wanting to get into are completely different fields, which is true, however, their tone was negative. After giving my answer they repeat the same exact question, making me feel awkward and having to reiterate what I already said. They then ask an inappropriate, patronising, and silly question: ‘if you have known about recruitment for a long time why did you decide to pursue it now?’ As though people aren’t allowed to change careers, or like there is a specific time frame for me to get into recruitment. Honestly, so unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. She then asks what I understand of the position of recruitment consultant, and after giving a detailed explanation, she dismissively claims that I need to do some more research about what it entails. Acting as though I don’t know what it requires despite extensive research, and giving a step by step description. I’ve read some other negative reviews about how horrible they are as an agency, not just in the London branch, but also in the Leeds branch. It all makes sense now, as I can see how they treat others after my interaction.
