Had a call from David @ Opus Recruitement - this was an unsolicited call. I have never given permission for this company to contact me especially someone who is out of the blue! Please can someone get in touch with me I would like to make a formal complaint for harassment.

Probably the rudest group of people I have ever met. Management need to look at the recruiters and culture they are nurturing. Disgrace of a company

Somehow managed to find my email and Spammed me with an identikit email about a IT developer looking for work. I work in Construction and although the job titles are similar, completely different sectors and roles. If I ever wanted a job myself, or wanted support filling positions, I would not use them as they are unable at even a basic level to distinguish between two completely different sectors, and they spam!

Extremely poor service. I've been waiting three months to get paid for urgent work that was completed on time. Every single promise has been missed. Every payment date has been missed. They have shown a complete lack of imagination or care in getting this resolved. Avoid if you enjoy getting paid. If I could award less than one star I would.

I agree with many of the negative reviews here. I did actually place in a job through Opus, but I wanted to withdraw as soon as I'd agreed for them to represent me, but felt trapped and didn't want to risk loosing an opportunity I eventually got offered. One thing to note is that in my sector, multiple recruiters seem to have the same jobs/companies which is weird. I wish I had gone direct, but in the past have had positive experiences with recruiters. I'm leaving this review as I wish I had looked up the recruiter before agreeing to let them represent me and avoiding a negative experience, despite the job outcome. The recruiter didn't add any real value to my experience and actually made me feel uncomfortable, the individual person was pleasant enough and I think they worked very hard, but it felt strongly that this company operate in a way that gives all recruitment agencies a bad name. I don't know for sure, but I expect some of the experiences I'm going to describe where about company practice more than the individual. I was constantly pushed and had pressure applied with petty and obvious tactics. I had very little trust in the recruiter. I was told things that clearly were not true. At one point I was being pressured into accepting an offer quickly before actually having received it, as I had been open about other ongoing prospects, and I was told I would need to accept the offer within 24 hours. I asked if this was standard practice in their experience and they said yes! This is completely absurd and further eroded the minimal trust I had. This is one example of a set of behaviours from multiple people working for this organisation that gives the strong impression that they care only about targets and comission, as actions make this clear and words suggestions otherwise are empty. This does not create a pleasant experience. Since being placed I have continued to receive emails and calls from other agents within this company for other jobs and I haven't even started yet. It's like they're competing with themselves! If you have a cynical view of recruiters and expect these behaviours and need to go through them to get a job, then do so, but if you have other options or value a trusting relationship I would strongly recommend another organisation.

I had a fantastic interview experience with Opus. Mariam was very helpful and friendly. She was very transparent about the role and the company.

Avoid - lots of fake roles/roles they are not instructed on in an attempt to sell in your CV to the client. Most of my network have had the same experience.

Terrible agency. Do not get back to you when submitting cv or making phone enquires to follow up applications. Not worth the effort to hit send on a cv with this company. Look elsewhere, been 6 months and multiple attempts to speak to someone about various roles. Don't know why companies choose to use this company for any work.

Opus Recruitment Solutions are a useless recruitment agency. They are more trouble than it's worth. They ask for permission to represent you for jobs they know are no longer available, or don't exist, then use your CV in ways that were not originaly agreed to. They also find out/guess the work email addresses of hiring managers, then send annoying unsolicited emails. These are the kind of recruiters that spoil it for the good ones. We do not respond to any emails from them and block their phone numbers anytime we learn a recruiter who contacted us is from Opus Recruitment Solutions. They are a complete waste of time, disingenuous, dishonest, and unprofessional. I can not recommend them.

Absolutely unethical recruitment agency that get your details through advertising job openings on LinkedIn and then call you to fish around for hiring managers in your current workplace! Appalling behaviour, all round.
