I can understand why more people are turning to AI recruitment platforms like Jack & Jill instead of outsourcing to recruitment agencies. One of their recruiters reached out to me on LinkedIn regarding an HR Director role and asked for my availability to have a chat. I responded promptly; however I didn’t hear back from her, so I followed up a few days later. We eventually pencilled in a date, but there was no clarity on whether it would be a phone call or a virtual meeting (e.g. Google Meet or Teams). I ended up messaging her on the day of the scheduled chat to confirm whether it was still happening (due to lack of communication on her end) and what format we were using. She confirmed it would be a phone call, and yes, it was still going ahead. No surprise—she never called. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t consider using this agency for recruitment.

Doesn't reply on applications, even not after contacting them on LinkedIn and sending an email. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior.

Recruitment agency that simply doesn't reply to applications. No message of any kind, not even after following up to check the status. This lack of communication is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to candidates who invest time and effort into applying. A simple acknowledgment or status update would go a long way in building trust and credibility. I hope your team can reflect on this and improve the candidate experience moving forward.

THEY contacted me about a job, arranged a phone call for the next day (Tuesday) at 13:30. No one called. Contacted them at 13:37 to see if the call was still happening. It's now Friday and still not heard from them. Deleted off LinkedIn. Don't trust people that don't follow through. It shows that they don't care about helping people. Would not recommend them or Abbie.
