I applied for a job role they were advertising directly through the website and I sent an email to the appointed consultant listed on the job advert with my CV and interest in the role. After a week I have still had no response what so ever. I understand if the job role was filled (even though its still advertising on their website) a courtesy email back just to acknowledge the fact I applied and or maybe could offer other roles they had would have been professional rather than just completely ghosting my email. Very strange as all other recruitment agencies I have applied to for jobs have always responded even if the job role was filled.

Standard agency behaviour especially solihull from my experience, call you up about a role then interrogate you about your cv nit picking making you feel worse and you just ending up having to hang up.
