Take great care before using this agency. We reluctantly decided to trial this company which now actually appears to be a one man band. We arranged to interview one of his candidates but on the said day they did not turn up due to circumstances beyond the agents control; so we gladly arranged a second interview. Again the candidate did not turn up, but this time the agent told us that he did not know why and he was unable to contact the candidate. At this point we decided to follow our initial gut instinct and not proceed any further with this company. We later came across the same candidate through a more reputable (in our experience) agency, so decided to hear his story. He told us that on the second interview with the said agency, he had rang them stating that he was very poorly and unable to drive. He said that the agent was then very rude to him and told him in no uncertain terms that he should get to the interview anyway regardless of his wellbeing. We decided to take on the candidate who works with us to this day, as he had told the rude agency that he no longer wished to be represented by him. As soon as this agency found out that we had employed his ex-candidate, he demanded his fee, with inflated costs if we didn’t pay fast. We refused to pay, but he kept pushing, eventually dropping his fee to a figure to enable him to go through the small claims court. We attended the hearing thinking that common sense would prevail, but no – apparently is all about your T’s and C’s. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.
