I contacted Billy (as per the request in the job posting), went through the details from my side, before he was able to go through the role in any depth he had to take a call with another client - he asked that I email him my CV and he'd call me the next day (Friday). I called him towards the end of the day and couldn't get through, called the main office and was told he was on a call but would call me back. Tuesday morning I called again, was told he was in a meeting but the message would be passed along and he'd call me back. Thursday morning I emailed and asked if I could have some information on the role - if I wasn't suitable to be told that so I could focus my efforts elsewhere. It's now the end of Monday (so a full week & 2 working days) with zero communication. I fully respect that I won't be an ideal fit for every role and if the answer is "no" then the answer is "no", but ghosting people isn't the way to tell someone. Very disappointing way of doing business.
