I had the pleasure of working with Johann Nathanielsz from the DACH team at X4 Technology, and I can truly recommend him as both a recruiter and as a person. I am not active on platforms like LinkedIn, but Johann was introduced to me through a friend he had successfully placed on a project. From our first contact, Johann has been extremely supportive. He guided me through the DACH freelance market, helped me set up as a Freiberufler, and made the transition from a 30-year permanent SAP career into freelancing smooth and stress-free. His knowledge of the market is outstanding, and he always takes the time to keep me informed, answer my questions, and share valuable insights. After three months of building trust and a strong relationship, I gave him the green light to represent me to his clients. Since then, he has kept me updated at every step and shown a level of care and professionalism that is rare to find in recruitment. Johann has completely changed my perception of recruiters. I now see him and X4 Technology as long-term partners – both for my own career and when I am in a position to hire. He is a great asset to X4 and to the German freelance market.

Would avoid at all costs. I had an email from Blerta Asanraka, who demanded a series of details before even stating who she was calling on behalf of.... Details provided and she vanished into thin air, with said details..... No longer responds to emails and phone goes to voicemail. Even trying to get hold of the legal department to have details removed under GDPR is impossible.

*TIMEWASTERS!* Had a phone conversation with Imogen Oakley, The Talent Acquisition Lead regarding a role at X4 Group. Good conversation and was told she’ll send my CV to a director and would get back to me the next day. I then reached out two days later for an update , no response. Hilariously and also annoyingly, the day I was meant to receive feedback, she was advertising a similar role to the one I was seeking on Linkedin! After countless phone calls and messaging on Whatsapp (which the message was delivered so i’m sure she’s seen the message), i’m now writing this review because my time was wasted. It doesn’t cost anything and take barely any time to keep me updated on the process, and after ignoring me for so long it’s understandable as to why Recruiters/TA’s get such a bad reputation, and maybe being ghosted was for the best as it may be a sign as to how the staff are at X4 Group.

I had an unpleasant experience with this recruitment agency. I received a WhatsApp message from one of their recruiters, Lily, despite never signing up with them, leaving me confused about how they obtained my number. When I stated that I wasn’t interested in job opportunities, Lily persisted in sending job details repeatedly. After asking to be removed from their system, her response was unprofessional and dismissive.

Not a clue who this company is. I received a rude random whattsapp from them and when questioned got spam a generic reply. Simply a company that cant be trusted it seems.

Friendly, but with a buggy onboarding system that doesn't seem tobe properly monitored by actual people, and no provision for enfocing their contracts if an end-client just doesn't want to pay.

They didn't get back to be within the time frame regarding feedback nor inform me the recruiter either be on annual leave for a week. Some of their posts, concurred by others, have been questionable They butcher and terribly format the CV too

Applied for a six-figure tech job on Sunday and on Monday had an agent on the phone. He had no idea about the job, was completely unprepared and throwing at me random keywords from the internet. It made me feel like the company he was recruiting for is engaged in some sort of a major money laundry operation. If it's true FAIR ENOUGH, but I'd avoid giving jobs to these guys otherwise, what a waste of time.

Comment for the German headhunter apartment: Very friendly and thorough attention to me and my qualifications to find the optimal job for me. Understanding when I decline jobs (due to the current situation). No pressure to meet quotas.
