The great thing is that customer service is a very big focus of mine and something that I am passionate about. I've been on many training courses, so I know the challenges faced in recruitment consulting. I really enjoyed liaising with Gareth from the off. He just wanted to find out about myself. He gave me a friendly introduction to himself and Venture as a company. Gareth was really professional. We spoke about apartments and eventually it clicked that he had a particular position for me. There was no pressure. Gareth let me check out the Job Description and asked me to let him know what I think about it - after that everything just took off from there. I was impressed with the initial conversation. Gareth was asking questions and listening to me. He then connected the dots and showed me a position that would work well with what I was looking for. Gareth was always keeping in touch with me which was excellent. He gave me good tips to support with my presentation. Before interviews he was always a call ahead, getting me ready, prepped and helping me out with interview pointers. Plenty of follow up calls and encouragement too. Gareth was really supportive, even today after I have been placed in my role. I was happy with this whole sincerity of the process. I felt like there was no pressure for me to get this role. I was actually offered two other roles. One of the roles was paying more. I knew that I wanted this role after the treatment that I received from Gareth, Venture and Crown. If I didn't have that great experience, I may have looked elsewhere. A real testament to Venture. I am a strong believer in hard work being recognised.”

I Loved what Archie did. Kept things short & sweet to built the relationship up, which I found it wasn’t intrusive at all. We had a load of good long conversations which felt better than the usual recruitment conversations I was having at the time. Archie took his time & was always interested in chatting about what he had to offer. We would talk things through after work when it was convenient to myself was very helpful. I had quite a lot of experience already, so they didn’t have to do a lot, but I was still offered interview preparation and helpful information about the company. I have not had a great experience with other recruiters but Archie & Venture caught me at a good time, and I was more interested in a conversation. Archie would regularly check in to make sure I'm ok even after he has filled the role. Archie is a great asset to your business and I hope other companies find this review helpful for their recruitment requirements.

Really good service, especially Nick. Nick prepared me very well and helped me get a head start in my application process. He gave me really useful interview prep, as well as insights about the company. This allowed me to gain an advantage for the role I applied for.
