I phoned Venrec this afternoon with a problem. My call was answered by Dave, who was very polite, helpful and 100% Professional. Everything was sorted to my satisfaction. Great service👍 Venrec somehow got to hear about my retirement. They made and sent me a personalised card. How lovely was that!

I have had a very positive experience working with Venrec Recruitment. Georgina was extremely helpful from the start and helped me secure a role with an accounting firm. I highly recommend Georgina if you are looking for work as she is a super good communicator, very polite and most importantly looks out for you. Thank you Georgina!

I was contacted by them on October 20th about their job listing on Indeed. They asked me what would be the best day and time to schedule a phone call. I suggested October 25th @ 2pm and didn't hear back, so I assumed (as anyone would) that I was scheduled for that slot. October 25th came and went and no call took place. I also had an anxiety attack all throughout the 25th because of this phone call. That bit isn' their fault, but no anxious person likes to go through an episode for nothing, which only added to my frustration. Fast forward to the next week, when I wrote a 1-star review detailing that experience. Ten to fifteen minutes later I got a call from them. They apologized for not reaching out sooner, as they were busy, and mention the review I left. I explained that yes, I left that review because I was expecting that call a week prior. They had the gall to tell me that I should've reached out to them when they didn't call, even though the ball was on their court after I suggested a date and time. They offered me an interview for Wednesday or Thursday (November 1st and 2nd respectively) of that same week if I took down the review. I complied as I'm in desperate need of a job. As you can imagine, that interview didn't happen. I never received another call nor did they contact me via email to confirm a date or to cancel the whole thing outright. It is now November 11 and the only meaningful contact I had with Venrec was a request to take down my scathing review. For clarity, the problem here is that they reached out specifically to schedule a phone call, then failed to keep a rapport when I gave them a date and time, failed to make that phone call when it was expected, and then reached out specifically to ask me to take down my review. When someone gives you a date and a time after you asked them for one, it's YOUR job to either confirm that slot, reschedule, or cancel. I had already reached out. It was your turn to do what you said you would. The very least you could've done to avoid this review was to send me an email asking to either reschedule or to cancel the whole thing. The problem here is that you didn't reach out prior to my first review and couldn't even hold yourselves accountable, saying, and I quote loosely, "well, you could've called since we were unable to, so why didn't you?" Don't bother calling a second time. I am not interested in an interview nor will I take down this review. Update December 18: Received a call from them to explain that they wouldn't follow through with my "recent" application because I lack the experience they're looking for, but primarily because of my reaction. Thank you for the feedback, but seriously? You're trying to say my reaction to a potential employer ghosting me isn't appropriate? Months after any phone call or interview was even supposed to take place? If anything, you just made me feel even more validated. Who the heck calls nearly two months after an uncomfortable interaction to say "yeah, no, nothing's gonna happen?" I just hope you're treating whoever you hired much better than this. I've had interviews since this happened and not once did anyone make me feel this disposable, nor did they reach out at any time (let alone months later) to say anything even remotely close to "you lack the experience, but we also don't like you so we're not going through with this."

Absolutely awful. They acted on behalf of someone I know and they took WEEKS to get back to them. They said they would contact by the end of the week but it was three weeks later. Only to have one job opportunity which wasn’t for what they was looking for. Absolutely useless, kept using excuses as to why they wasn’t looking when they was probably sitting on their biscuit doing nothing. Luckily the friend got a job in the first week but haven’t told them as they want to long them out.

Very friendly professional team. Stephanie put me in touch with a company where I secured a 2nd and now 3rd interview for a permanent position. I received a call prior to both interviews to wish me luck. Would highly recommend.

A very professional company where Steph always had time to talk about potential job opportunities. I would always recommend her to others who are looking for a role or career step in their accountancy profession. I felt like I was well looked after in finding my new job role.
Chris Manington
Very polite and professional woman who runs the business and got me a great job. I have recommended her to mates, as she understand accountancy roles and what employees are looking for in their new roles.
