Totaco Ltd

Mark McKenzie is probably one of the best recruitment professionals I have ever worked with. he's constantly on the case, follows up every possible detail and works non-stop for a result. He always keeps people fully informed and will always return calls and find answers. As a candidate you couldn't ask for more and as a recruitment partner he's second to none. I'd wholeheartedly recommend him.

I was extremely impressed with the total professionalism of Totaco, especially Sebastian Bacon. All through the recruitment process I had clarity and confidence in Sebastian as he demonstrated a great personal touch and illustrated how thoroughly he had researched my suitability for the role and vice-versa. Following success in being recruited Sebastian then showed genuine interest in my welfare and checked that I was happy in my new role. I would recommend working with Totaco for all recruitment matters as they have been by far the best recruitment agency I have worked with in over 30 years !!

Important review for Candidates from an employer. We were outreached by this business for role we were hiring for, they had a good candidate for it so we wanted to discover more. I will say the talent was really good, interesting and could have been great for us. But during the process we asked for clarity on the performance of the candidate to understand what performance KPI's they were used to and what success they had. The recruiter lied about the performance as I check the stats with the candidate, when I brought this up, I was told that I was being rude and unfair. The recruiter also kicked off with me on the phone which I didn't think was the right or professional approach at all. To be honest as they client in this situation, I was shock on the way he spoke to me. In my eyes I think they were trying to inflate this candidate and push him through the process. To be fair the director of the business then called me to try and sort thing out, it was a fair conversation but nothing really came out of it and we went our separate ways. I am now listing this review, because almost a year later they have called me again, initially trying to fix the past, but also to push another candidate towards us, but on the call again became unprofessional and made personal comments about me, to me. My point to all of this is for the candidates, be careful that Tataco doesn't misrepresent you to employers, or even put you in the same bucket as their rudeness and unprofessional tone.
