Still awaiting a reply re an application for GPA in Leeds from Jan 26 Assuming I wasnt shortlisted then ....

What sort of recruitment agency can’t give feedback? I’ve applied for a job at Robertson Bell Northampton as a recruitment consultant back in September 2025 - Got to have an initial call with a consultant called Samie, then she pretty much didn’t message and or call to give any form of feedback or if the application was processing further. Then I re applied back in January and also called the office to see if my application had proceeded, then Samie sent me the same registration email she sent me in September and had the exact same call with me. But again no feedback after the initial call and I also messaged to ask for some feedback or if the application was being progressed. In my opinion, a recruitment agency can’t respond to texts, calls or let a candidate so is applying for an internal role know that they aren’t being progressed further or provide any feedback - What client/business should trust them to source out and hire candidates?

Only have positive things to say about Robertson Bell where I have established a strong professional relationship with them over a number of years in my career, where they have recruited me in finance roles in the charity and civil service. Trustworthy and professional team of recruiters and other staff who not only will find you roles that will fit your needs but will also make sure you are in the best position to be recruited to those roles. They also maintain a relationship through regular contact throughout your work placement to show to you that you are valued to them and offer advice that can only help you in your career. Will not hesitate to work with them again and encourage Finance peers to do so as well if they have not worked with them before.
