I recently landed an amazing job role through Layka Recruitment. This wonderful team have offered the most incredible support for me throughout my job search, consistently using their many connections and clients to gather lots of opportunities, in what is undoubtedly, an uncertain time in the job market, particularly with young graduates like myself. I have had many phone calls with Cara, Michelle and Sally, who's warm, bubbly and professional personalities shine through to make one feel very comfortable and secure. They certainly won't give up on you!

I applied for a job through Layka Recruitment Agency, who within 24 hours had responded to my job application & spoke with me over the telephone to find out more about me, why I applied for the role & my job search. I dealt with Michelle who was so friendly & professional on the telephone, it made the process feel comfortable and easy. Michelle contacted the employer to get me booked in for a interview & whilst doing so, kept me updated during the entire process. Once I had completed the interview, & found out I was successfully hired for the job, Michelle was incredibly happy to share the news with me which made receiving the news more enjoyable. Unprofessional and completely useless. Communication 0 for months on end and only occasionally on rare occasions popped-in to ask me if I've found a job yet, despite supposedly putting me on "Platinum" status. Had a call once with one of their team members, and she ended up ending it half way because she had a simultaneous video call with another which showed a lack of organization and planning. Honestly wish I could give less than 1 star Edit: Response to the Reply provided by the Owner: Your reply only confirms the complete lack of accountability from your agency. Let me be abundantly clear: I did not solely restrict myself to sustainability or environmental roles, despite your misleading claim. I explicitly stated to your staff that I was also open to a variety of non-degree-related roles, including office or finance-based positions. When I expressed interest in one such opportunity, I was told it had already been given away on a ‘temporary contract with another agency.’ So please spare me the narrative that nothing matched my ‘unique requirements’ — the truth is that nothing was ever properly presented to me in the first place. Your reference to discussing my CV and offering tips is equally hollow. A single superficial conversation that one of your staff couldn’t even commit to finishing because she double-booked herself is not genuine support — it’s a waste of a graduate’s time and a clear example of poor professionalism. Towering promises of ‘Platinum Status’ and later moved to 'Gold Status' followed by months of silence and the rare message of ‘You found a job yet?’ does not constitute effort, strategy, or results. It constitutes negligence. Your carefully polished excuse about ‘the tough climate’ is not only irrelevant, it attempts to mask the fact that your agency failed to deliver on even the most basic levels of communication and follow-through. There are countless other recruiter agencies facing the same market conditions who still manage to uphold professionalism, consistency, and respect. You simply did not. That’s why you received one star. I'm done with being passed around and having my time wasted

Brilliant team, contacted me out the blue with a job spec, landed it, they were helpful throughout the whole process, they’re professional, friendly, and get results, and even got me a goodie bag, would highly recommend. No complaint's whatsoever.

Just was in call with lady who didn't want to have conversation and seem biased stating that if I am not from London there is no point talking to her no matter what my experience is and went to the point that I should only look for jobs around my area only. Had to end the call on positive note that she wasnt willing to have any conversations at all.
