HD Surveyors

Roger took the time to understand what I wanted for my next career step and delivered results that perfectly aligned with my goals.

Roger provided a comprehensive, individually tailored and altogether thorough recruitment service from our very first discovery call in November 2024. Having had to change locations over the years for varying external reasons, my CV raised questions with the top tier employers, and as a result I experienced issues getting to the first interview stage in many cases. Having recognised and considered that there is a story behind every candidate, Roger was able to deconstruct my CV and draw out my practical skills and experiences in a tailored format which presented me in a more accurate light to employers. Utilising his sound reputation built up over many years in recruitment, Roger was able to display to his contacts that behind my CV is a demonstrably skilled, experienced and passionate professional candidate who is worth investing for future growth and expansion plans. Roger got me to interview stages with a fantastic commercial building surveying company in London, whom I immediately established a professional rapport and chemistry with. I am delighted to have accepted an offer from this company and I am relishing fully the opportunity in the new year to work with a renewed confidence and vigor in my abilities, toward a senior building surveyor position and beyond. I am fully indebted and grateful to Roger for having faith in me and look forward to working toward new heights at my new company. Thanks for everything Roger, I will most certainly be keeping in touch.

Excellent service from Roger, got things rolling from the get go. Kept me updated on everything throughout my application stage and got me employed straight out of university.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Roger, a highly skilled recruitment agent. Throughout the job search process, he demonstrated a keen understanding of the market and a strong dedication to finding the best match for my skills and experience. Roger was a true professional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure that my job search was as smooth and successful as possible. He was highly responsive, and I always felt that he had my best interests at heart. Overall, I highly recommend Roger to anyone seeking the assistance of a top-notch recruitment agent. His expertise and dedication make him an invaluable asset in the job search process.

The service provided by Roger from the beginning was excellent and his personal / bespoke approach to listening and understanding who you are and what you want, I found to be both interesting and extremely useful. Roger was able to draw out what I wanted before I knew it and his experience / knowledge within the industry provided the reassurance I needed to move forward from my current position. Roger has an impressive ability to understand the candidate’s requirements and line them up with interviews at companies seemingly capable of fulfilling these needs. The continual support and guidance throughout the entire process, even after I was offered and accepted a new position has been brilliant and I am continually grateful for everything he has done. HD Surveyors stood out from the other recruiters who approached me for the reasons already mentioned and I highly recommend anyone looking for a new position or employee (if an employer), to give Roger a call and not look back!

Roger at HD Surveyors provided an incredible service as I looked to move jobs. I had been with my company for nearly 8 years before deciding to move so hadn’t been on the applicant side of the recruitment market for a long time. In my previous role I was used to seeing the worst of the recruitment industry… unsuitable candidates, not listening to requirements, even trying to poach staff the recruiter had placed just a few months previous! But I can wholeheartedly say that Roger is the very best of the recruitment industry. He established a comprehensive brief with me to set out all my requirements, likes, dislikes, etc. and then went out all the companies that fitted the brief on my behalf to see who was hiring and gauge future opportunities. A completely bespoke approach rather than just offering me his own existing client list. I interviewed at several places, and we used the experience to feedback into what I really wanted from a role and employer. This has led me to being placed in the perfect role (if there is such) and on considerably better terms than I thought possible or could have negotiated myself. All in all, Roger has absolutely delivered. And he’s a lovely bloke too! You’ll never have another recruiter like Roger, someone who’s basically a chilled-out entertainer.

Roger and his team are very professional and extremely knowledgeable about the construction industry. Roger spoke with me in depth about my career aspirations and offered advice on where my career should be heading to achieve them. Throughout the job search, Roger updated me frequently all the way up to my first job opportunity which was a perfect fit. The whole time I did not feel overwhelmed and always felt I had support from HD Surveyors. I now feel my career is heading in the right direction and it is all thanks to Roger and his team. The knowledge and experience the team has is invaluable and I would strongly recommend getting in contact with HD Surveyors if you are looking for career advice or job oppotunities in the surveying industry.

Absolutely thrilled with the service from HD Surveyors. They got me two job interviews on the same day and both firms gave me an offer! I had some contractual issues with my university and current employer which were really worrying me, but HD Surveyors was always there to check through my contracts and provide me with various telephone conversations to help me through the tough times. Will always use this company over any other recruitment consultancy. Thank you!

Working with Roger and HD Surveyors was the best career decision I have ever made that has now set me on a new path to achieve things I wouldn’t have been able to have achieved at my previous employer. I have always been skeptical of speaking with recruiters but can hand of my heart say that Roger and his team are no mainstream recruiters and actually listen carefully to what you are looking for and have a valued set of connections to give you the best possible chances. I don’t know any recruiter whom has been able to secure me 3 interviews within less than 2 weeks and with Rogers support and guidance we were able to secure 3 offers. A pressure free service unlike other recruiters. The service Roger delivered is unrivaled, pleasant and created an eye opening experience. I have built a professional friendship with Roger and know that he’ll be a key part of my career moving forward and will be my first point of call when I look for my next opportunity. Roger is passionate about the industry and helping others and I will be forever grateful for the support and guidance he has provided me which has allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone. I could not recommend Roger and his team enough. A 5 Star Service.

Roger at HD Surveyors was highly professional and knowledgeable whilst providing a personal service. There was the perfect amount of commication throughout my job search and I appreciated the relevant updates when required. Roger took time to understand my requirements and ensured he only suggested suitable roles. Thankfully I have been placed with a great company in a perfect role as a result of one interview! I would definitely recommend HD Surveyors to anyone else looking for a new role in the industry. I firmly believe Roger and his team will create positive working relationships with whoever he is associated with.
