Hayley at Direct Recruitment has been absolutely amazing right from me sending in my CV for a job on their website. She rang me within the hour asking for more details to make sure I was a good match for the job. The communication has been spot on, keeping me updated every step of the way. I was offered multiple interviews within the same week, which sealed a job offer within an hour of me leaving my second interview. Very happy I came across Direct Recruitment because I feel without the help from Hayley, I wouldn’t have got the job. Highly recommended!

I am compelled to assign a one-star rating, though my experience warrants a zero. I cannot recommend employment with Direct Recruitment. Before Christmas, I encountered two separate family emergencies resulting in myself needing time away from work. Direct Recruitment demonstrated a complete lack of empathy, offering no understanding of my circumstances. Too focused on prioritising their own financial interests by attempting false assumptions for me to return to work, and had misrepresented the employer they act on behalf of by falsely claiming my position would not be held open if I did not attend work. I had directly communicated with the company in question, and they had assured me that I could take the necessary time needed. Returned as planned after the Christmas period, but due to yet more issues (unsafe working conditions) raised this with Direct Recruitment & again no response or just simply not bothered about your wellbeing. After some considerable thinking, I decided to quit mid-way through my shift as I could no longer work for such a Recruitment Agency or said Dealership. Upon leaving you're not paid what you're owed. During the time I was employed by Direct Recruitment, I would have accrued holidays (which I never used), which they have also not paid along with my last wage. Direct Recruitment have also falsely put my leaving date 2 weeks & 5 days earlier than my last shift worked on my P45. I have now taken this up with ACAS. If applying for the 'Car Compound Driver Role', don't listen to the nonsense, it's temp to perm also. Every staff member at this dealership are 'Agency' said dealership do not take anyone on Full-Time. This is so they can simply get rid of you without following the correct procedures. Horrible place to work, very toxic, unsafe working conditions in cold snaps. And bullying management. There's a reason the staff turnover at this place is VERY high!! Luckily, this was only a stopgap job for me whilst I obtained my HGV license. So if you're after job security this is not the job.

Apply for work told they would contact and never do they advertise jobs and when you apply or phone they fob you off I wouldn't even waste time applying Absolute joke
