I would highly recommend Dartmouth Partners, and especially Ishan Hindocha. Ishan made the entire recruitment process feel seamless and straightforward through his professionalism, expertise, and exceptional communication skills. From our very first conversation, it was clear that Ishan genuinely understood both the role and my background. He conducted a fantastic first-round interview, asking insightful questions that helped identify not only my technical fit but also my long-term career aspirations. His ability to communicate clearly, provide honest feedback, and keep me updated throughout the process made a significant difference.

I had a very positive experience with Dartmouth Partners. Lewis Hill was particularly helpful throughout the process, and communication was always professional, efficient, and clear. He was also very accommodating and flexible when arranging timings, which I really appreciated. Overall, the process was well organised from start to finish and everything felt smooth and straightforward. A great experience overall.

Significant Issues

Had an interview, no response afterwards, only takes 30 seconds to write an e-mail to say "sorry someone else got the job".

One female principal Mariana Simoes does not have a good attitude and being disrespectful to other people. She's not professional and being unfair towards people.

Terrible recruiters honestly - its giving hectic with a side of zero due diligence and an inability to respond to emails. The recruiters that got me the best interviews and ultimately my job (and actually knew what they were doing) were Alternative Investment Search & Selection and also Pinpoint partners. Not paid just sharing the love

Significant Issues

Worst recruiters ever. Got me an offer that wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. The recruiter had done zero diligence on the company he was recruiting for. Don’t trust these guys - they speak a sweet speech but will lie to get you to accept an offer that is not worth the paper it is written on. Plus they put a lot of pressure on you to accept it. Was a nightmare working with them. Really inexperienced bunch of consultants and principals.

Worst agency I have come in contact with. Saw online that they had a bad rep but didn't think it would be as bad as the rumours. Had my interview rescheduled 6 times only being notified 10 mins before the actual interview was meant to take place. The 5th time it was rescheduled turned up to the arranged meeting online and the recruiter was nowhere to be seen. Eventually called him up and he showed up an hour later. Actual interview was fine but some of the worst organisation I have seen in the industry. Would strongly advice against using them.

I would highly recommend Dartmouth Partners to any candidate looking for a new role. The firm is extremely professional and between themselves, they have a great depth of knowledge about the market and the types of roles that would best suit a given skillset. I would especially like to acknowledge Freida, who was instrumental in helping me to receive an offer for an investment research role and who worked hard to make sure I was well prepared at each step of the recruitment process.
