Can’t thank Austin Banks recruitment enough for securing me my new job, in particular Alicia Kirk. She was so helpful and kept me in the loop throughout, job searching can become stressful - she made the whole thing so easy. Big thanks to the team!

I responded to a post put up by Alicia Kirk. At the end of January she emailed me with "good news".... a well known firm wanted to interview me and she asked for my availability to attend which I provided to her. Then I heard nothing for about 3 weeks so I chased asking if the interview was even real. She replied that the interviewer had been on Jury leave but interviews were now being arranged. Again, weeks passed and I still hadn't heard anything! I strongly suspect there was no such interview! To put someone who had unexpectedly been made redundant through such poor treatment, especially when they were facing potentially losing their home, is not acceptable. I strongly advise against using this firm if you are looking for another job. Absolutely awful!! UPDATE: Their response to this review is testament to their unprofessionalism. Not once have any of them actually had a telephone conversation so NO, we have not spoken. And I was never sent regular updates....I had to chase about the interview as set out above and received one reply only. It is appalling that they have now also felt the need to BEND THE TRUTH in their reply to this review. Point about them proven. I have already gained new employment.

Tom contacted me in the morning of the last day of my last job in construction. He sent my CV across and was contacted by him a short while later to say I was offered the job.
