Loved my experience through Aspire. A special acknowledgment to Helen and Ruth for being great with my job search process, and truly caring for me as a candidate. :)

The hotel I had been working at for 6 years was sold and was going to be used for another purpose, so unfortunately I had to leave my job. As you can imagine, that’s when my job search began. I honestly lost count of how many applications I sent through LinkedIn and online job sites — and I didn’t hear back from a single one. At that point, I decided to contact recruitment agencies directly. I emailed around 10 agencies with my CV and cover letter about my situation. To my surprise, only about half an hour later my phone rang. That’s when I first spoke with Ruth from Aspire Recruitment. From the very first call, Ruth was friendly encouraging, and professional. She told me she had reviewed my CV and cover letter and that there was actually a role she thought I’d be a good fit for. At first, I wasn’t sure I could handle it — the role seemed challenging. Because I didn't have any experience on that particular field. But with Ruth’s guidance and encouragement, I interviewed with the company. That interview cleared away all my doubts. I realized not only that I could do the job, but also that I’d genuinely enjoy working there. A few days later, Ruth called me with the amazing news: I got the job! I can’t describe how happy I was. I honestly can’t thank Aspire Recruitment and Ruth enough. Sometimes you go through phases where you feel down, question yourself and not confident enough — I did too. But thankfully, I came across Aspire Recruitment, and through them, Ruth. For that, I’m truly grateful. Now, my biggest goal is to succeed in this new role and prove to my new company that they made the right choice. And then they will feel how I feel about Aspire. And I just want to say — if you’re job hunting, I highly recommend Aspire Recruitment. They’re professional, supportive, and genuinely care about helping people find the right job.

Received a random text message from a mobile number claiming to have a job offer for me to review - from Aisling, Aspire Recruitment (UK). This was sent to me on a Sunday. I replied with “Absolutely not, you don’t have any job offers for me to review. (I’m a self employed business owner), additionally, it’s a Sunday afternoon!” I received another message asking me to review the offer as it was a work from home offer that doesn’t interfere with my current job - which is completely impossible. I had to demand that they no longer communicate with my number. I find this extremely unprofessional. I would never contact a client on a Sunday, I certainly don’t expect to be receiving a cold call/text message on a Sunday!!!
